IBS CMD
IBS CMD G4 is a Windows-based software package for Configuration, Monitoring and Diagnostic of the INTERBUS I/O system. It runs under Windows 3.1, 95 and NT and is supported by all Generation 4 INTERBUS System Controller (SC) and Diagnostic System Controller (DSC) boards, such as the:

*The CMD DEMO version is limited to operate an INTERBUS system with not more than five devices.
On most SC and DSC controllers, the configuration data can be stored in a non-volatile memory directly on the controller board. The INTERBUS configuration is then automatically executed on power-up of the controller board.
IBS CMD G4 typically runs on a LapTop PC and connects from the serial port of the PC to the RS-232 diagnostic port on the Generation 4 SC or DSC controller board with the help of a serial cable (IBS PRG CAB, P/N 2806862 ). The IBS PC ISA SC… controller boards can also communicate via the ISA bus of the host PC (if applicable).
The online-features of IBS CMD G4enables it to operate while the control program on the host system runs the application. This gives the user the advantage of real-time diagnostic information on the INTERBUS system status.
Limitations/Restrictions:
All Generation 3 (G3) controller boards (IBS…CB or IBS…DCB) require IBS CMD G3 (P/N 2721413, IBS CMD SWT G3 E).
All Generation 4 Field Controller (FC) or Remote Field Controller (RFC) require SYSTEMWORX of PCWORX.
